The use of alternatives to new equipment solely, or as a complement to new equipment, is a cost savings approach to many projects.  Budgetary guidelines often limit the exclusive use of new equipment for a project.  However, by “value engineering” a project with the use of “special purchases”, reconditioned, and/or used equipment, as well as factory “seconds” and surplus, our clients can gain the same efficiencies and productivity that new equipment provides, at a much lower cost.
